ANTS CONSUME BLOODLESS BABY BIRD IN 4K TIMELAPSE

perhaps that’s why oscar wilde wrote these lines in the canterville ghost.
in the video above, a dead baby bird (don’t worry, it was already dead when these folks found it) is consumed by an army of ants. the 4k timelapse is a phenomenal look at how nature constantly recycles itself.

death must be so beautiful. to lie in the soft brown earth, with the grasses waving above one’s head, and listen to silence. to have no yesterday, and no tomorrow. to forget time, to forgive life, to be at peace.

nature has a way of working that continues to both fascinate and amaze us. there’s not a day that goes by that we’re not left in awe by the vastness of the universe and the way everything is interconnected. equally as nature creates life, it also summons death.
it’s a beautiful and inescapable cycle.
